Western Tours & Tales wish to confirm the following Terms and Conditions

Do I need book before the tour?
-              Yes, you need to have the tour booked and paid for in advance.

How much walking is involved?
-              The walking tour lasts over 90 minutes and there is a good bit of walking but at a casual pace.

Are the tours appropriate for Children?
-              The tour is designed for adults, so a child is likely to get bored during 90 minutes of walking and history. We do, however, welcome small children in buggies or strollers.

What happens if I arrive late for the tour?
-              Unfortunately we cannot delay the tour, we wait a few minutes but then we have to move on. No refunds given for missed tour.

-          Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour.

Are tours Wheelchair accessible?

-         -              Yes they are, Galway is a flat city with no big steps or inclines. But please make contact with us before you arrive for the tour.

How many people on a tour?

-          Our private tours can have as few as 2 participants. For our Public walking tours, the maximum on tour will be 15 people.

Are tours offered in other languages?

-          Currently, our tours are only offered in English.

What happens if there's bad weather?

-          In the West of Ireland it rains quite often. In most cases the tour will proceed. If there is severe rain promised and conditions look unpleasant, we will be in contact with you beforehand to advise you. You are advised to dress for the unpredictable Irish weather, bringing rain jacket, umbrella and sun cream.

-          If there is an official orange or red weather warning, the tour will not proceed.

Can you book a private tour and do you charge a booking fee?

-          Yes we can facilitate private tours, please contact us directly by email at info@ireland-west-tours.com

-          We do not charge a booking fee for tours booked directly. Tours booked through an agency, however, may incur a booking fee

What is the cancelation policy?

-          Bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to a particular tour and are fully refundable. If unable to make a pre-booked tour, you can be rebooked on another tour of ours.
